WOW BLOG – It’s a choice by Tabatha Rutherford

It’s a choice by Tabatha Rutherford

Good morning beautiful family and friends!

This morning as I was having my quiet time thoughts of choices kept playing in my mind. There were a few that stood out as God showed me a couple that stood out significantly. I continued to read when I heard that small, comforting, deep yet loving voice  speak “ Choose wisely.”

As you begin this weekend make a choice in every circumstance to be kind, loving, understanding, be hopefully in every thing you face. You see, you can choose to be mean to the person that cut you off in traffic or the friend that did you wrong, or the co-worker that said something to offended you, it’s all a choice. It’s not easy but worth it at the end of the day. You see choice was left when Jesus died on the cross. You can choose to worry over something all weekend but I ask you this.. what does worrying do? By Worrying it only takes away from what God had in store for you.   Place it at the foot of the cross and embrace the day ahead.

This weekend you can enjoy what God is doing in the here and now. Do not worry about tomorrow or the next. Take it day by day and make a choice to trust Jesus in all situations. Pray, trust and move forward with your plans and day ahead. What you face each day and the choice you make can have an impact on everything you do. Make the right choice and stay in faith.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waiver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
