Love responsibly. I find it’s so easy to love people that you like. Likewise, it’s uneasy to love those that are unlikable or someone we just met, John 13:35. Our love is the love Christ shared with us first, Romans 5:8. Our witness of love is most sacrificial to those that seem unlovable and to strangers whose paths we’ve cross. Our responsibility is to love as Christ loves you and I, Ephesians 2:19-22. Each one of us met Christ through someone. He IS LOVE. You are His “living example.” The world is love hungry. Let’s share Him more and more with our loveless world. “Love makes the world go round.” (John 13:34) Scripture tells us to love others as your own self. To you, what does that look like and how do we do that? We were strangers to our Lord, yet He offered us His love, 1 John 4:9-10. Believers do we tend to expect others to earn our love before we are willing to extend our love? Why?
