Take the wheel by Pastor Debo’rah Drayton Ward
Driving to work one morning in foggy weather, to keep control I forcefully grabbed the steering wheel, slowed down and kept going. Forwardness does not necessarily mean speedily, (Ecc. 9:11). When you are unable to see clearly far ahead, just know our Father’s wisdom, His Word, and time will always outdistance all. No promises are guaranteed in our own strength. God’s Spirit will not guide you where His grace cannot keep you. Faith enables us to trust in what we cannot see. Yielding to the control of God is not easy. Allowing your abilities to be controlled by His speed can drive you into spiritual weather conditions … “FOG.”
F-O-G = FAVOR OF GOD! (Psalm 5:12) “God saved us because of His favor toward us.” Undeserved favor is the manifested Grace of God. “God showed favor on his people through the work on the cross.” (Eph. 2:8) Be guided by our Lord. He will show you the way. He is our Supreme driving force. How can you let Jesus take the wheel?
