“Jesus is Our Way to the Father”
Some of us have biological fathers, some do not. Some of us have absent, distant or fathers who are deceased. Some of us have good relationships and good memories and some of us do not.
Yes, we know God is our Creator and Sovereign Redeemer. Relationship identifies how we define and relate to Him as our Father. In the natural, fathers whether biological or not are concerned about everything that concerns his child(ren). He is always interested in what interests his child(ren). He provides, protects and disciplines his child(ren). He genuinely loves his child(ren) through the good, the bad and the ugly. A father is never far off. Never distant. He deliberately desires and intentionally strives to stand with and show his child(ren), how to possess confidence, resilience, and respect. He endeavors to fortify their mind, strengthen their heart and keep them strong in hope, Matthew 7:11.
We all have a Father who loves us affectionately without any limitations. His perfect love for us is without conditions. Regardless to this life’s occurrences, we wear His name, Ephesians 3:14-15. We are clothed in His character. We are identified with Him. His Spirit occupies in us. “God the Father has made himself God our Father means that he is personally, emotionally, and even sacrificially involved with us.” Emmanuel.
We can be confident and secure “Jesus is Our Way to the Father,” John 14:6. All we need is found in Christ our Lord. We come to the Father through the Blood of the Beloved Son of God. BE rooted and grounded in His love. Like a Father. Like a Son. Like a Daughter.
