Blessings on this marvelous Day, my fellow sisters on life’s journey and daughters of the King.

As I was driving my car home from the repair shop recently, I couldn’t help the overwhelming flood of emotions while driving it again after it had endangered my life and left me stranded when it broke down on the interstate in the fast lane.  Now I was constantly checking all of the gages and listening to every noise the car made.  I realized that I had lost all confidence in my car.  How often do we or have we lost confidence in things like our cars and houses and people, perhaps humanity in general, life’s circumstances, doctors and scientists, our family members, spouses, children and even our friends, our churches, pastors and church members, jobs, our money and the economy, our country and politicians…. And the list could go on and on.

As I was praying, God asked me if perhaps my confidence was misplaced.  That question kinda stung a bit, but He is so RIGHT!  As always!  Our confidence should be in GOD and HIM ALONE.  

Lord, help us to put all of our faith and confidence in YOU!  May you and yours be blessed, changed and transformed as you put your CONFIDENCE and trust in Him who is always trustworthy!!!
