What Legacy are we leaving?   Did you know that whether it’s our children, our grandchildren, their grandchildren or all the people God places in our lives, we can leave a legacy of love!  Love is a gift from God.  A gift that keeps on giving, long after we are gone.  True love like this can only come from God.  So how do we leave a legacy of love?  We can start by declaring blessings over our children, grandchildren and all those that God brings in our lives here on earth.  We are not to focus on what they are doing right now but rather to focus on the promises of God and declare and decree blessings over them.  I am sure I don’t have to tell you, we are in a battle for our children, our grandchildren and their children along with all those God has surrounded us with.  But isn’t comforting, to know – we win / they win!  

 

Did you know that God is bragging on our children and grandchildren! He believes in them and in HE believes in YOU!  We have a HUGE part to play in future generations.  The Lord says, “Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and shake the world.”  “… the seed of the righteous shall be delivered”  Proverbs 11:21 – Our descendants will defeat their enemies” (Gen. 22:17).  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9 

 

Love never fails!  Love is the solid foundation by which we are to live our lives.  Let us leave a legacy of love by dispensing LOVE everywhere we go and onto everyone we meet!
